Providing Support and Guidance to College and High School Teachers

Dr. Walter has served as a full-time faculty member for more than 25 years at three institutions of higher learning. As a Professor Emerita, her personal experience as an educator and mentor to prospective and seasoned teachers led her to practice as a Teachers' Coach.

Dr. Walter's experience equips her to work directly with Provosts, Pedagogical Centers and Faculty Organizations in higher education, as well as district superintendents for secondary education, to provide Teachers' Coaching programs in small groups and workshops.

Led by Dr. Walter, these groups offer vital support and encourage teachers' passion, address their challenges, build morale, and provide guidance on a wide range of teaching issues.

Groups and workshops address specific issues including curriculum development, planning, student engagement, student success and effective communication.

Dr. Walter provides guidance and expertise in all aspects of teaching, utilizing her experience leading undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level students through a unique Teaching Practicum course which she created.

Teachers' Coaching Programs are customized to the needs and requirements of each group and institution.
